Let's see... I don't know if I've just felt too busy or too lazy to have not written in the last week.. or four days.  I think I'll call myself lazy and here it is almost 130 in the morning and I'm still up when I know I'm tired.

Well Monday Night Scratch didn't go too bad... I may not have bowled up to my potential, but our team bowled good enough to take 19 of 22 points and get back into first for this quarter so hopefully we can keep it up and win a quarter.  I didn't start of too great in any of the games cuz it seemed like I had one or two opens in every game I bowled so I had to keep coming from behind to win my point.  I ended up winning my first three games with games of 192, 202, and 225 and then when I should've changed balls from the Special Agent to a weaker ball after the third game, I left like three splits in that game and couldn't double and bowled a 155 or whatever it is that adds up to a 775 series... and that was high out of the four women bowling that day... not too good... wonder what was wrong with everyone else.

Tuesday night we bowled on the Cheetah pattern and if i remember correctly, wasn't one of the better ones for me during the summer league.  I thought I'd do better than summer, but I don't think I faired too well, and neither did the rest of my team.  We only took one of four points.  Hubby did really well the first game with a 234, and I had a 143, along with the other two teammates of ours who bowled the EXACT same thing as me.  Then the other teammate of ours bowled a 220 something the next game while the rest of us bowled like crap, me with a 156.  Then finally I found my line in the last game and bowled a 206, and the rest of the team bowled ok, and I wound up with the high on our team of 507.  I knew I didn't like this pattern... just gotta find or create a line for myself earlier in the night... it's just so snappy and frustrating and I swear I tried every ball I had and wound up sticking with the special agent for most of the night.

Then tonight, my hubby was looking forwardt o bowling... something he hadn't done in ages until I got him that ball.  At first I thought we were bowling on lanes 1 & 2 and was like oh shit, then I was corrected and we ended up on 7 & 8, 1 & 2 is next week... let me prepare myself by not hating the lanes before I bowl on them... but wait til I tell you what I bowled tonight, then see how superstitious I can be.  I had a crap practice to begin with... that usually means good things for me... just had to choose the right ball and I did by choosing my tropical storm.

Felt pretty comfortable throwing that ball once I found where my break point was and wound up bowling a 226 the first... hubby struck out and finished with a 219 so we did decent.  Next game... 235... and hubby 191... he knew tonight the shot was there but he wasn't doing something right and it wasn't the ball's fault.  I haven't heard him say that in a long time so it's good to know he's not blaming it on the ball anymore.  Last game... he shoulda had more strikes but apparently from what was left (the 9 pin), there was just a tad bit too much finger or power making his ball not deflect into the 9 pin and pissing him off.  He ended up with 196 and I started with a split in the second frame and only managed to string one turkey that game and ended up with a 205 game.  We ended up winning all four of our points and I ended up bowling a 666 series... never did that.. missed it by one pin with a 667 before... why did I have to strike that last ball... if I only knew.  I will try not to be superstitious... I have been called satan's daughter before, so hopefully I bowl well Monday cuz I have to win against this guy who's been doing well like me this season so far.  AFter tonight i bumped my average up from 202 to 203, so I hope I can continue doing well... i feel more confident lately.

Along with that.. I just ordered the Black Widow Pearl to replace my Spit fire... how similiar will they be... I have no clue, but I need something because my arsenal just doesn't seem complete anymore... I don't feel like I have an in between ball so I need something new and it should be hre on Tuesday.  So I will probably get it drilled wed or thursday and test it out friday night... we'll see.  I just want to do well this season... and I think my average and confidence is showing that I believe in myself a little more.

No tournament this week... my hubby wants to start bowling ABT now, but I don't think they have one this weekend.  Told him he can do the first one when he decides he wants to go... then we will switch weeks.. though I'd rather just him do it, but I will try to see how I can do outside of these houses we've been bowling in lately.  Want to make some money... just afraid we'll spend more trying to win and I'm trying to save for the Mil Bowling Tournament in Vegas in January. 

Anyway.. I'm blabbering now cuz I'm tired... so I'm out.  Night!
